Senior SW Engineer - Quality Assurance

This organization is currently looking for a top-notch Senior SW Engineer - Quality Assurance to add to their winning team in Edmonton.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in project planning and provide regular updates on project milestones
- Develop detailed test cases, test plans and test strategies for SaaS projects
- Deliver quality products by thoroughly testing through all phases of development life cycle, including functional testing, regression/integration testing, performance testing and security testing
- Use a combination of test methods to ensure thorough testing
- Balance manual and automated testing to improve delivery efficiency and test coverage
- Work with software developers to ensure features/products achieve desired quality
- Work with project team to deliver on QA automation strategy
Qualifications:
- Completion of a degree in computer science (or similar)
- 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering
- Demonstrated success in the use of Java programming languages
- Ability to work with web applications and back-end platforms
- Experience in testing or developing for both Mac & Windows environments
- Experience in Test Automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with automation of API and Web Services
- Competent in software engineering QA
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment
- Clear communication skills, written and verbal
