Tax Analyst
Location: Calgary Alberta
Job Description:
Are you an accounting professional who's searching for an opportunity to get into the energy sector?
Your opportunity has arrived! We are currently recruiting a Tax Analyst for a job opportunity with an industry-leading organization within the energy sector. This role is based in Calgary.
Some key responsibilities associated with this position include:
- Preparation of tax returns, forms and other related documents
- Tax account reconciliations
- Remittance of tax installments and other payments
- Coordinate with government tax auditors
- File management
- Ensuring tax regulations are adhered to
Qualifications include:
- Completion of an accounting designation (CA preferred)
- 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate tax
- Proficient in the use of computers, including tax preparation software (TaxPrep, Cantax, etc.)
- Clear understanding of Canadian tax laws
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
